Last night I went to dinner at my Zia Rossie's house to eat the hunt of the season. The majority of which was 6oz. birds that resemeble sparrows, grilled with their heads on. Because i'm not a proponent of hunting, in the sense that i don't support hunting as a sport or recreational activity, i tend to shy away from many of the conversations had. No need to uncessearily argue with the host, it wouldn't be polite. I watched them for a while and it w as very interesting. My cousins, all between the ages of 19 and 27 bring their significant others, i say significant other not because it's necessary to be PC here, but because of one female cousin i have who brings her boyfriend.. anyways, the girlfriends are expected to help out with the housework, the serving, the cooking, etc. as if they were members of the host family. Two of them take to this quite well and seem so content to please this way. One, though sweet and polite, has no intention of laying a finger on things inside. She, of course, is the talk of the kitchen. The biggest hunter is Mirco, and 5'6'', small shouldered, well dressed 27 year old. He often mimics the gesture of shooting a gun and talks about the glory of blowing a birds head off. Last night came the conversation of what is permissible to hunt. They complained about the list being so short and how to get a hunting liscense one must learn all these rules. Last time i was there, Mirco told of his trip to Africa and the Safari he went on. He went to hunt.
Also, i found out my friend quit school during the last month and became a bar tender. She was the highest in her class but decided studying wasn't worth it. She said she felt more appreciated at work, where men grab at her and talk her up all the time.

Because I forget things so often, I've decided to start recording my summer or at least what I remember to put down:
May 9: Interview with Lifetime TV May 10: Interview with Food Network - offered the job on the spot! May 11: sick... sat around and did nothing May 12: Liz was back for the weekend. May 13: Mother's day. Drove in to pick up alberto: conquered the midtown tunnel. Made a delicious meal for mamma. Watermelon Gazpacho Chicken and Beef Tequila marinated Fajitas Mango Souffle May 14: Unsuccessfully looked for a job. Went to the pet store with Kian and Benny. They both were peed on by a snake. Yacht and LCD soundsystem at Webster Hall with Barry. The guy standing next to be looked like will ferrel in night at the roxberry.. he danced like him too. Bamn is now where the new york milkshake company used to be. I've been away for a while. May 15: First day using my equinox free pass. I found out that it's 375 dollars for the summer membership. I mean, it's nice, but not that nice... deposited my first check of the summer. went in to get a PFT.
